Questions people actually ask
What kind of recordings do you take?
Anything on a cassette. Shiurim and lectures, simchos, family recordings, interviews, dictation, music, a voice you want to keep. We do not need to know what is on them, and we do not listen beyond what the work requires.
What if a tape is broken or moldy?
Send it anyway. We repair shells, re-spool snapped tape and clean mold more often than you would think. If one is genuinely unrecoverable, we tell you and you are not billed for it.
What format do I get?
MP3 by default — small, plays everywhere. Ask for WAV in the notes if you want an archival master, at no extra cost.
When exactly am I charged?
The day your files are ready. We count the tapes when they arrive, email you if the count differs from your estimate, and only then bill the card on file.
How long do you keep my files?
Indefinitely, in your account. Download them as often as you like.
Do I need an account?
For a request through this page, yes — that is where your files live. If you called us instead, we can open the ticket for you and email you a private download link.
